Goldi Gaines For Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands

Running to Heal the Land

I grew up in North Little Rock as the only daughter of Gregory and Nina Gaines. I am the eldest of 2 siblings to my baby brother and sister Keshun and Racheal. I am the mother of four beautiful young adults, daughter Monique and three sons: Marrisee, William and Preston. An even prouder Nana, one grandson Christopher.

I’m asking for your vote for Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands. I want to make a difference in Arkansas. I am a native of Arkansas born in Little Rock and raised in North Little Rock. Arkansas is dear to me. This is my home, the home of my parents and their parents. Some of my earliest and sweetest memories always lead me back to a little community by the name of Dark Hollow. You see it was there that I first learned to love and appreciate nature's continuous unfolding beauty.

Yet, I’m concerned I come to realize that there is not enough education as to relate to Arkansas Lands. I’ve also noticed a lack of innovation such as green spaces and food deserts. These elements speak directly to three areas of concern in Arkansas: poverty, hunger, and health.

I was admitted to the Arkansas AME 12th District Conference. Under the leadership of Dr. Hazikiah Stewart, former Pastor of Moody Chapel AME. And, Executive Director of The Watershed “World's First Social Hospital”. I worked alongside Dr Stewart as Co-chair for Moody Chapel AME Social Action Commission. It was in the trenches that I earned my stripes. I got a close look at the hardship that comes with poor legislation and education of God's people.

I am the CEO of Ar Anti-Poverty Group; Founder of the Locin of The Minds Forum (Relationship Talk Radio) on KABF 88.3. I am a former Co-host of the WMCIH 102.5 Praise and, Co-chair of A Call for Healing- spiritual growth counseling through worship. My passion for Business Management has enabled me to help organizations establish a healthy workflow process that assists in securing a vibrant work life cycle. My belief in holistic living drives my passion to incorporate both spiritual, physical and emotional wellness in workplace environments. I now understand the application of acts of concern, compassion, and trust. These creates an environment that lacks the probability of dark feelings of anxiety, frustration, and low workplace morale.

I’m running for Arkansas State Lands Commissioner for the opportunity to service this great state and you the people. I envision a healthier and more promising Arkansas. Why vote Goldi Gaines for Ar State Lands Commissioner? My name tells you why! Vote for me because Arkansas is moving forward with Gaines. We’re gaining ground with me, Goldi Gaines.

Goals

The campaign platform is rooted in: (1) Education (2) Voter Registration (3) Innovation. I’m concerned I come to realize that there is not enough education as to relate to Arkansas grounds.
